A Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery — a full undergraduate medical degree in classical Ayurveda, not a short course or certificate. Colombo runs one of the most established BAMS programs in South Asia.

A postgraduate qualification in how health actually works in a New Zealand context — population health, behaviour change, and the public health frameworks patients here already navigate.

Every consultation begins with understanding your individual constitution — your prakriti — before anything is recommended. The goal isn’t to mask a symptom; it’s to understand why it’s there in the first place.

Classical Ayurvedic training teaches the diagnostic and treatment frameworks refined over centuries. A New Zealand public health qualification teaches how to apply that safely and sensibly alongside the healthcare system patients here already navigate. Dr Dilini treats both as essential, not optional — one without the other is an incomplete picture.
How We Practice
One Practitioner, Every Visit
Jasmine Ayu Lanka operates from a private home clinic in Wellington — by design, not by default. It means no rotating practitioners, no rushed appointments, and a level of continuity that’s hard to find in a larger clinical setting. You’ll see Dr Dilini, and only Dr Dilini, from your first consultation onward.
