Consultations

What Happens in a Consultation

A first visit is mostly Dr Dilini asking questions and listening, not handing over a printed plan. She needs to understand your constitution before she can recommend anything specific.

What Gets Discussed

Three Things Every Consultation Covers

Your Constitution

Ayurveda works from your prakriti, the balance of vata, pitta, and kapha that’s specific to you. Dr Dilini asks about sleep, digestion, energy, and stress to work this out.

What Brought You In

Whatever symptom or condition prompted the visit gets covered in detail: how long it’s been going on, what makes it better or worse, and what you’ve already tried.

A Realistic Plan

Recommendations might include dietary changes, herbal support, or oil-based therapies, depending on what fits your life. Nothing that assumes you’ll overhaul everything overnight.

Before You Come

Nothing to Prepare in Advance

There’s no form to fill out beforehand. It helps to have a rough sense of your daily routine, your sleep, and any medication you’re currently taking, but Dr Dilini will ask what she needs to know during the consultation itself. If you’re already seeing a doctor for something, mention that too, so she has the full picture.
